Leigh leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Leigh’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Deleavey and Beatrice Deleavey (Mitton). He is survived by: his daughter Della Deleavey of Shediac, NB; his grandson Austin Ramsay of Prince George, BC; his great grandchildren, Cayleigh Gunderson and Dallas James Ramsay (DJ) of Prince George, BC; and his brothers, Wayne Deleavey (Queenie) of Plaster Rock, NB and Vaughan Deleavey (Debbie) of Morrisburg, ON. He is also survived by Many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Veterans' Health Centre (65 War Veterans Ave, Moncton, NB E1C0E7).
