He is survived by: his children, Paula Ryder, Deborah MacMichael, Susan O'Hara (Robert), Leslie Ryder (Vera), Carla Gould (Gregory) and Deverne Ryder; his grandchildren, Benjamin (Angela), Michael (Brigitte), Ryan (Ayesha), Brock (Jillian), Leslie (Paula), Ashley (Matthew) and Jared; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Samuel, Adeline, Estelle, Olivia, Ashlyn, Sebastien and Isaac; his siblings, Leighton (Dolly) and Loretta; and his caregivers, Kristi, Millie, Claudine and Darlene. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
