He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Nowlan and Justine Nowlan (Richard); his wife Yvonne Nowlan (Cormier); his children, Géraldine Leger and John; and his brothers, Odilon, Aurèle, Arthur, Réné, Roméo, Aldori, Arsène and Gérard.
He is survived by: his children, Rosina Nowlan of Moncton, Hélène Nowlan of Moncton, Jacqueline Ermen (Craig) of Moncton, Germaine Hingst (Irvin) of Calgary, AB and Roger (Caroline) of Moncton; his children-in-law, Bernice Nowlan and Emery Leger; his grandchildren, Natalie (Louise), Chantal (Mark), Nicole (Tyler), Marc, Luc, Ashley (Cody) and Michelle (Michael); his great grandchild Michelle; his sister Germaine DeRoy (Claude); and his siblings-in-law, Rita Nowlan, Alice Nowlan and Freddie Cormier (Francis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
