She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilleard Branscombe and Margaret Branscombe (Coates); her former husband Raymond Steeves; her husband Jerry Smith; and her siblings, Everett, Earl, Arnold, Myrtle Church, Evelyn Colpitts, Gladys Church, Pauline Murray and Florence.
She is survived by: her children, Myles Steeves (Vicki), Walter Steeves (Clara), David Steeves and Marion Steeves; her stepson Jimmy Smith (Nancy); her stepgrandchildren, Rachel, Patrick, Julia and Stephen Smith (Paula); her grandchildren, Tonia Sherrard (Tom), Travis Steeves, Catherine Steeves (Dean), Shawna Lutes (Patrick) and Justin Steeves (Alyssa); her siblings, Grace Branscombe, Margaret Van Til, Lottie Forsythe and Ivan Branscombe; and also Alexander.
