Lynn Read Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynn Read (Moncton, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lynn Read to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Prosser and Georgie Prosser. She is survived by: her son Mark Reade (Linda); her grandchildren, Samantha Reade (Joey) and Ryanne Reade; her great grandchildren, Phinley and Piper; her sister Marjorie; and her son Carl Flanagan (Diana). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Fair Haven Funeral Home & Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lynn's memory may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation.
