It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lynn Whalen (Moncton, New Brunswick), born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away at the age of 64, on January 18, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Johnson and Patricia Johnson (Carle); and her sister Joy. She is survived by: her daughters, Katie and Julia (Jeremy); her husband Bill; her children, Kate and Matt; her sister Kathy Watt (Murray); her sisters-in-law, Maureen Merrill (Steve) and Jane Sunderland; and her sibling's children, David Watt (Amy), Amy Parrill (Mark), Kim Wilson (Wayne), Todd Merrill, Jeff Sunderland (Cara), Marsha Johnston (Justin), Kelly Thompson (Steve), Geoff and Ryan Burgoyne. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, grand-nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the visitation and funeral service for Lynn will be held at a later date.
In this spirit, donations can be made to the Lynn Whalen Memorial Endowment Fund, through the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (friendsfoundation), in support of new mothers and their babies who need a little extra help while they are at The Moncton Hospital.
