She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Melanson and Exelda Melanson; her former husband Raymond Poirier; her daughter Paulette Richard; and her siblings, Léo, David, Sylvain, Gérard, Dollard, Lucianne, Anna and Marguerite.

She is survived by: her husband Clarence LeBlanc of Ste-Marie; her children, Gérène Allain (Gérald) of Moncton, Simonne O'Brien (late Tom) of Moncton, Rose-Marie LeBlanc (Léonce) of Moncton and Jack Poirier (Murielle); and her grandchildren, Denise (Gary), Michel (Susan), Sandy, Denis, Annette (Jason), Rachelle, Claude (Patricia), Michael, Marc and Kim (Andy). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; three step great great grandchildren.
