He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Richard and Estelle Richard (Melanson); his stepparent Blair Babineau; and his wife Barbara Ann Richard. He is survived by: his children, Krista Richard of Moncton, Brent (Patti) of Riverview and Bobby (Linda) of Moncton; his grandchildren, Breanna (Jérémie), Joshua, Jeremy and Tyler (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Samuel; his close friend Sue Gallant of Moncton; and his siblings, Jeannette Melanson (Byrne) of Shediac, Andréa Chappell of Moncton and Paul of Vernon, BC. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required for visitation.
