He was predeceased by: his parents, Alban Gauvin and Marianne Gauvin; and his siblings, Fidèle, Aldorie, Omer (Marguerite), Francis (Doris), Jeannine and Rita.

He is survived by: his siblings, Odette Bourgeois (late Henry) of New Hampshire, Paul (Jeannette) of Dieppe, Léo (Dorine) of Dieppe, Léonard Gauvin (Jeannita) of Netick and Rosina Belliveau (Aimé) of Cocagne; and his brothers-in-law, Léo of Dieppe and Paul of Dieppe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
