He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Avard and Carolyn Avard (Donald). He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Sturgeon); his son Michael of Halifax, NS; his granddaughter Ariyah Avard; his brother William of Ontario; Kandice Martin of North Bay, ON. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's United Church (75 Alma St, Moncton, NB E1C4Y3).
