She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Melanson and Georgina Melanson; and her siblings, Charline and Guy. She is survived by: her daughters, Renée (Robert) and Georgette; her siblings, Valmond (Peggy), Rhéal (Yvonne), Norma, Patricia and Lise (Paul); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Arielle and William; and her child Joseph Melanson.
