She was predeceased by: her parents, Botsford Trites and Sadie Trites (Wilson); her husband Elmer Tower; her son Keith; her siblings, Ken (Alda), Ora (Marie), Oram (Etta), Vince (Yvonne), Hazen (Ellen) and Myra; and her brother-in-law Johnny Steeves.
She is survived by: her children, Arnold Tower (Linda) and Lynn MacKenzie (Rod). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Phyllis' memory may be made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or Hillside Baptist Church. The family has chosen to send donations to All Funds.
