She was predeceased by: her parents, Botsford Trites and Sadie Trites (Wilson); her husband Elmer Tower; her son Keith; her siblings, Ken (Alda), Ora (Marie), Oram (Etta), Vince (Yvonne), Hazen (Ellen) and Myra; and her brother-in-law Johnny Steeves.
She is survived by: her children, Arnold Tower (Linda) and Lynn MacKenzie (Rod). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fergusons Funeral Home (1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB E1G1A5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Phyllis' memory may be made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or Hillside Baptist Church.
