He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Allain and Hélèna Allain; the mother of his children Simonne; his siblings, Édouard, Armand, Clarence, Cyrille, Sylvia (Alvin) and Anne-Marie (Bob); and his sister-in-law Ida.

He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Allain of Riverview, Diane Allain of Moncton and Carole Léger (Daniel) of Grande-Digue; his grandchildren, Jessica, Chelsey (Kevin), Nathan, Maxime and Simon; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Chloé and Emma; his brother Henri Allain (Mildred) of Bouctouche; his sister-in-law Alice Allain of St-Louis; his former wife Jeanne-Mance Goguen of Cocagne; and his stepchildren, Jacinthe Léger-Hodgin (Troy) of Bouctouche and Jean-Marc Léger (Nadine Williams) of Cocagne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
