He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bastille and Claire Bastille (Ferland); and his niece Becky Weaver. He is survived by: his sister Renée Weaver (Richard); and his sibling's children, Robert Weaver (Sarah) and Rachel Weaver (John Quimby).

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fair Haven Funeral Home & Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9). A reception was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fair Haven Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9).
