Rena I. Newbatt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rena I. Newbatt of Moncton, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald MacDonald and Isabel MacDonald of Bay Side, NB.. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Newbatt; her children, Shelley-Lynn Whiffen (Bernie) of Miramichi, Janice Cooper (Blair) of Delta, BC and Derek Newbatt (Denise) of Miramichi; her grandchildren, Joshua Whiffen (Sam), Jenna Whiffen, Taylen Cooper, Benjamin Cooper, Laurren Schneider (Dillon) and Leah Oding (Connor); her great grandchildren, Bennett Whiffen, Emrik Whiffen, Gabrielle Whiffen, Daxton Whiffen, Weston Whiffen and Deacon Doucette; and her sister Lillian MacCallum. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fergusons Funeral Home (1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB E1G1A5). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel (1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB E1G1A5). A burial was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
