He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Armstrong and Alice Armstrong (Surrette); his wife Claudette (Thibodeau); and his siblings, Shirley Martin and Bill Armstrong.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Czeschin and Steve Armstrong (Elizabeth) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Kelsi Doublin (Dallas), Kamron and Samantha; his great grandchild Rory; and his siblings, Debbie MacDonald (Ken) of Edmonton, AB, Vicky Armstrong of Moncton and Jim of Riverview. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
