He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Gaudet and Angèle Gaudet (LeBlanc); his wife Shirley (Richard); his daughter Paulette Babineau; and his sisters, Simone Gaudet and Jeanette Bissonnette.
He is survived by: his children, Pierrette Gauvin (Terry), Ginette Landry (Réjean), Michel (Darlene), Marcel (Paula), Maurice (Mary Ann) and Francis; his son-in-law Gérald Babineau; and his grandchildren, Isabelle, Denis, André, Gabriel, Miguel, Amy, Melissa, Bobby, Stéphanie, Justin, Marc, Brandon, Véronique, Janelle and Parise. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
