He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Watling and Sylvia Watling (Heasman); his sister Jean Ingersoll; and his brother-in-law David Ingersoll. He is survived by: his wife Erma Long; his children, Lisa Taylor (Mark) of Tennessee and Kris (Kelly) of Miramichi; the mother of his children Joan Watling; his stepsons, Cory Long (Jana) and Trevor Long (Joanne); his grandchildren, Samantha, Logan, Campbell, Tamara and Tyler; and his siblings, Lloyd (Sheila) of Moncton, Frankie (Ona) of Miramichi and Beverly of Saskatchewan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
