She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Léger and Yvonne Léger (Richard); and her sister Claudette. She is survived by: her husband Paul Melanson; her siblings, Géraldine Richard (Guy) of Haute-Aboujagane, Albertine Gautreau (Dolor) of Haute-Aboujagane, Aline Brun (Léandre) of Haute-Aboujagane and Virgil (Dora) of Haute-Aboujagane; her godchildren, Donna, Arielle, Danny and Mathieu; and her siblings' children, Brenda, Christina, Lissa and Stephanie.
