He was predeceased by: his parent Alexandre Lirette; his wife Sandra; and his brothers, Guy "Junior" and Alexandre "Junior". He is survived by: his parent Valéda Lirette; his children, Marc (Lisa), Nicole (Pierre) and Michel (Vicky); his grandchildren, Riley and Gabrielle; his siblings, Lucie (Archer), Catherine (late Arthur), Diane (Al), Alphée, Rosemonde (Sam), Gisèle (Emery), Andréa (Norbert) and Jeanne; his brother-in-law Dave (Dale); and his close friend Jeanne. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

The family would appreciate donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital, Tree of Hope or to The Canadian Cancer Society.
