He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Chirka and Stella Chirka (Burdyka); and his siblings, Michael and Joyce Chirka. He is survived by: his wife Debi Chirka (Lutes); his daughter Madison (Maddy); and his sister Elizabeth Bird (Elgin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
