He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cooling and Gertrude Cooling (Thompson); and his siblings, Lillian, Betty, Maxine, Bill, Fred, Ralph, Auley, Malcom, Reginald and Harry.
He is survived by: his siblings, Faye Mann, Eileen Allan (Garnett) and Robert Cooling (Elaine). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
