He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Fitzgerald and Mary Fitzgerald (Carroll); his children, John Fitzgerald (Michelle) of Riverview and Tara Sprague (Mike) of Amherst, NS; his grandsons, Justin Sprague and Jacob Fitzgerald; his siblings, Teresa of Parksville, BC., Clyde (Ruby) of Mississauga, Jerome (Sandra) of Deer Lake, Barry of Calgary Alberta and John (Julie) of Barrie; and his child Anne (Pafford) of Riverview. He was also cherished by seven nieces and nine nephews.

Donations to the NB Heart and Stoke Foundation or St. Augustine Catholic Church, would be appreciated by the family.
