He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacArthur and Norriss MacArthur (Cormier); his adoptive parents, Joseph Chapell and Clara Chapell (Chapman); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Chappelle and Bruce Rogerson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie Rogerson, Ruth Tannous (Jerry) and Doug MacArthur (Cathy); and his close friends, Judy Mann, Eric LeBlanc, Shawn Tobin and Greg Fennell (Patricia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fergusons Funeral Home (1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB E1G1A5). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church (340 Dominion St, Moncton, NB E1C6H8).
