Ruthann Melanson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2025, Ruthann Melanson of Moncton, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Hebert and Lorraine Hebert (McDermott); her baby boy Bannister; and her siblings, Michael, Darrell, Susan and Delores.

She is survived by: her daughters, Tanya and Stacey; her son-in-law Jeff; her grandchildren, Isabella, Mackenzie, Nathaniel, Ismael and Ivone; her siblings, Dale, Darlana, Natalie, Leary and Maynard; and her niece Tobi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; several extended family members; and her many friends.

She spent hours drawing with them, teaching them to cook, playing card games (she remained undefeated in crib), listening about their day, and having 'girl time' which included face masks, nails, and hair.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CHU Dumont Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, or a charity close to your heart. The family has chosen to send donations to All Funds.
