She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; her daughter Lisa Marie; her granddaughter Jessica; her siblings, Lloyd (Bud), Charles Corey, Dorothy Furlotte and Dale; and her parents, Hantz Corey and Carolyn Corey of Moncton.
She is survived by: her children, David (Shirley) and Donna Gorveatte; her grandchildren, Matthew (Lacey), Sarah (Chad), Emily (Nate) and Rebecca (Chris); her sister Muriel (Donald Stuart); and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Keeling and Margaret Gorveatte. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Tidal Church (945 St George Blvd, Moncton, NB E1E2C9).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Tidal Church, Albert House Hospice, Extra-Mural, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
