She was predeceased by: her parents, Georges Melanson and Marguerite Melanson (Surette); her husband Laurie; her daughter Sandra; and her siblings, Helen, Elsie, Doris, Charlie, Albert and Leo.

She is survived by: her son Erwin (Thérèse LeBlanc) of Notre-Dame; her sister Dorothy Williams (late Robert) of Moncton; her son-in-law Roger Thériault of Shediac Bridge; her grandchildren, Ginette Thériault (Ron Caissie), Marcel Thériault (Nancy McGrath), Andrew Williams (Charline Cormier) and Shelly Williams; and her great grandchildren, Mylène Caissie and Véronique Caissie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
