The memory of Louanna D. DeMerchant of Monquart, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Reeleder and Iva Reeleder; her former husband Paul Salmon; and her stepdaughters, Cindy Salmon and Susan Salmon-Watson.

She is survived by: her husband Howard DeMerchant; her stepchildren, Tanya Kenney (Doug), Lee DeMerchant (Cheryl) and Sandy Gagnon; her stepgrandchildren, Candace Salmon, Bradley Watson, Emily, Hunter Kenney, Isaac and Sarah DeMerchant; and her sisters, Mernie Rideout and Glenda White (Joseph). She is also survived by many Sisters and Brothers-in-laws, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Chapel (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1).
