He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoléon W. and Dina (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Mary Melanson (Barker); his daughters, Joanne Melanson of Bouctouche, Carrie Foster (Dwayne Campbell) of Mississauga, ON, Katie Melanson (Aaron Kittle) of Brampton, ON and Dina Melanson (Aaron Rouse) of Sussex; and his siblings, Freda Bay (Bill) of Bedford, NS, Linda Comeau (Armand) of Dixon Point, Yvon (Denise) of Moncton, Emile (Annette) of Shediac, Calixte (Bertha) of Cormier Village, Arthur (Monique) of Pointe, Louis (Sharon) of Calgary, AB and Jean (Norma) of Grimshaw, AB. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and, nephews.
