He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert and Sandra Gillespie; his aunt Shari Gillespie; and his parents-in-law, Roy and Mary Anne Nason.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Gillespie; his sons, Riley (Isabelle), Jack and Jase; his grandson Rees; his parents, Leisha Morecraft (Barrie) and Billy Gillespie (Joelle); his siblings, Trina Greer (Brad), James Gillespie (Nicole) and Isabelle Gillespie (Cam); and his grandmother Lois Sode. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Harvey Memorial Community Centre (58 Hanselpacker St, Harvey, NB E6K1A3).
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Dan, the family has suggested the Harvey High School (designated on cheque memo line for Basketball Program).
