It is with sadness that the passing of Evelyn McEwen of Nackawic, New Brunswick is shared. Evelyn, born on November 11, 1945 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, passed away on October 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Evelyn will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Evelyn by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Evelyn is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Evelyn’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Embleton and Isabel Embleton (Rosborough); her husband Murray McEwen; and her sister-in-law Gloria Embleton. She is survived by: her brother David Embleton (Susan); her niece Kristin Gillis (Dan); her great-nephew Nolan; her brothers-in-law, Edgar Finnis (Chris) and Mark Finnis (Gail); and her niece Carol Heppell. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
