We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2022, at the age of 49, Richard Alan King (Nackawic, New Brunswick), born in Fredericton, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his stepfather Greg Hanson; and his grandfathers, Johnny Moorcroft and Cecil King. He is survived by : his parents, Alan King (Joyce) and Cathy Hanson (Moorcroft); his daughter Josie King of Fredericton, NB; his granddaughter Aurora King; his siblings, Cody King (Leanna) of Hainesville, NB and Jessica King of Nackawic, NB; his nieces and nephews, Jaxson King, Jacob King, Hailey King and Jenika King; the mother of his child Eileen Lavoie; and his grandmothers, Myrtle Moorcroft and Nina King. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

For those who wish to make a donation, the family has suggested the Lower Hainesville Cemetery.

“I am sorry for your loss, I went to school with Richie. One of the things I remember was going to Nackawic for shop/home ec. in junior high. The cooking class I was grouped with 4 big guys and me. Richie and the boys made a quick decision that I would do the cooking and they were ok with the eating and the dishes. Richie and the guys kept to their word. Once they taste tested the food the tea towels come out and they went work. It still makes me smile. Nancy Davidson Sewell God Bless.”
