She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Murchie and Helen Murchie (Cook); her husband Albert LaPointe; and her siblings, Dougie and Barbara Anne.

She is survived by: her cousins, Shirley and Helen (Noella); her great-niece Rose; her daughters, Brenda (Clay) and Wendy; her granddaughters, Vanessa, Kayla (Camille) and Shannon (Alysha); her great grandchildren, Brodi, Addie, West and Nate; her siblings, Rhoda, Harvey (Carol), Teenie (Lorden) and Dale (Lloyd); Don. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Friends of Healthcare Foundation in honour of Elizabeth Lapointe.
