With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice De Almeida Moreira (New Bandon Northumb Co, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alzira Freitas (Almeida) and Jose Freitas; her daughter Filomena Alves; her son-in-law Laurent; her siblings, Manuel, Odemar (Lina) and Maria (Antonio); and her pets, Dusty, Tucker and Lola.
She is survived by: her husband Manuel Moreira; her children, Chico Moreira (Paula) and Sonia Moreira; her grandchildren, Patricia (Armenio), Amanda (Jeff), Nicole (Jeffrey), Bryan (Hanshee), Shawn and William; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Neah, Jackson, Evan, Avery and Gracie; her siblings, Dimantino (Adalaide), Fernanda (Silva), Theresa (Fernando) and Palmeda (Victor); and her grandchildren, Lucy and Asher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Best Buddies program at Leo Hayes High School, a cause close to Alice's heart and one that supported "Meu Amor" (my love), her grandson William. Donations can be made by cheque to "Leo Hayes High School" with a memo indicating it is for the Best Buddies Program.
