She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Hood and Mowatt Hood; her husband Freddie Boone; her sons, Neil and Dale; and her close friend Ebby Wilkins.

She is survived by : her children, Freddie (Shelly), Joanne (Allan) and Jacalyn (Allen); her siblings, Leonard (Diane), Sherry (Art), Shirley (Danny), Fred, Neil, Harry and Helen; and her brother-in-law Art. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
