With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marie Rose Murphy (New Bandon Northumb Co, New Brunswick), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hartley and Alice Hartley (Nethaway); her former husbands, Albert Ward and Rod Croucher; her children, Catherine Smith and Stephen Ward; and her sisters, Linda Lovely, Sharon Lovely, Margaret Lovely, Vada Johnson, Ruth Nowlan, Judy Sargfield, Anita Holmes, Catherine Smith and Joyce Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Murphy; her children, Rod Croucher Jr. (Melanie) of Rusagonis, NB, James Ward of Vancouver, BC, Dale Ward (Joe) of Thailand, Patricia Ward of Fredericton, NB and Elaine Jewett (late Neil) of Douglas, NB; her sister Bonnie Smith of Perth, NB; her stepchildren, Mike Murphy (Angie) of Hamilton, NB, Tracey and Clinton; her grandchildren, Rod Ward, James Ward, Ashlie Ward, Jessica Ward, Brittany Croucher, Paige Croucher, Brad Bates and Connie Roy; and her great-grandbabies, Thomas, Justin, Jayten, McKenzie, Brandy, Samantha, Nicholas and Chloe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
