She was predeceased by: her children, Jean Cathy, Dennis and Wendy; her parents, Fred Fewer and Lily Fewer (Pritchett); her sister Sandra Starkes (Cross); and her in-laws, Myrtle, William Cross, Gordon Cross, Anne Adams (Cross), Allistair Cross and Raymond Cross Sr..

She is survived by: her husband Melvin Cross; and her siblings, Mona Cruikshank (Brad), Fred Fewer (Wanda), Pam Waterman (Kirk), Barry Fewer (Laura), Craig Fewer (Anita) and Annette Galway. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
