He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Flinn and Helen Flinn (Fullarton); his sister Ruth Marshall; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Flinn and Gary McDade.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Flinn (Ball); his children, Belinda Fletcher and Stacey Barrett (Todd Hannan); his grandchildren, Brandon Fletcher (Sarah), Jordan Fletcher (Shelby), Kaitlyn Barrett (Jackson) and Haylie Hunt (Tristan); his siblings, Laurie Flinn (Sandra), Gary Flinn (Alice), Bill Flinn, Joyce Harvey, Kay Hansen (Dave) and Helen McDade; and his brother-in-law Robert Marshall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or a charity of the donor's choice.
