He was predeceased by: his parents, Cresten Nyborg and Lillian "Kirstine" Laursen; his wife Joan (Nielsen); and his siblings, Ivan Nyborg (Mary) and Helen McGann.
He is survived by: his children, Dana (Nadine) of Gondola Point, Virgil (Sonya) of Saskatoon, Melanie Nyborg of Bloomfield, Linda Jensen (Paul) of Hebbville and Ellen Nyborg (Eric Tompkins) of New Denmark; his grandchildren, Colleen (Sean), Kristin (Matt), Karen (Warren), Juli (Dustin), Tim (Erin), Kevin (Taylor), Bradley (Brigitte), Jillian (Craig), Joey, Peter (Lena), Betsy (Zach), Hans, Jaden and Brayden; his great grandchildren, Liv, Mariama, Kennedy, Jackson, Finn, Theo, Signe, Riley, Søren, Olivia, Julia, Edward, Ivan, Ella, Odin and Julie; and his son Corey Crawford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church. A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
