She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Bates and Katherine Bates (Mills). She is survived by: her husband Wayne Ouellette; her son Skylar Ouellette of Fredericton; and her sister Kim Bates (Trevor Paget).

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
