The passing of Marie MacDonald (New Jersey, New Brunswick) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Murray and Clara Murray (Stymiest); her husband Perley MacDonald; her son Jason; and her siblings, Ruth Duff, Mildred Savoy, Thelma Hayward and Kenneth Murray.
She is survived by: her son Stanley MacDonald of New Jersey; her siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Reade (late Douglas) of Moncton, Phyllis Davidson (George) of Burnt Church and John Murray of Moncton; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce McKnight of Miramichi and Iris MacDonald of Burnt Church. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 9:00 PM at the Marie's Home (20 Mill Rd, Alnwick Parish, NB E9G2L7). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Zion Presbyterian Church (19 Burnt Church Rd, New Jersey, NB E9G2K2).
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Zion Presbyterian Church, Burnt Church Union Cemetery, or to the Extra Mural Program.
