She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ferris and Nora Ferris (Day); her son Dale Mason; her grandson Justin Mason; and her siblings, Olive Purves and Bruce Ferris.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil B. Mason; her children, RuthAnn Heatherington (Ronald) of Halifax, NS, Timothy Mason (Barbara) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Terry Mason (Theresa) of Edmonton, AB and Lindsay Mason (Elizabeth) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Janette, Gregory, Chelsea, Meghan, Sarah, Erica, Laura, Phillip and Garrett; her brother Charles Ferris (Carol) of Robertson Point; her brother-in-law Clinton Mason (Mary) of Fredericton; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa, Gary, Randy, Louise and Tedford. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bishop's Funeral Home & Crematorium Chapel (540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2J3). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
