Greta Blanche (Chamberland) Grondin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greta Blanche (Chamberland) Grondin (New Maryland, New Brunswick), born in Drummond, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Pamela; her parents, Narcisse Chamberland and Albertine Chamberland (Bard); and her siblings, Mona Deschenes (late Walter), Marie-Rose Carroll (late Chester), Mirella Ouellette (late Laurent), Geraldine Pelletier Lesvesques (late Richard "Elude" Pelletier), Martine Michaud (late Gilbert), Huguette Ouellette (late Louis), Alphena Dupuis (late Rene), Reginald Chamberland (late Rita Albert) and Ned Chamberland (Barbara).
She is survived by: her husband Maurice Roger Grondin; her children, Lynn, Kim, Gregory and Priscilla; and her siblings, Bernadette Carroll (late Rudolph), Velva St. Onge (late Gaston) and Burton Chamberland (late Judy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and, great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bishop's Funeral Home & Crematorium (540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2J3). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sts. John and Paul Catholic Church (727 New Maryland Hwy, New Maryland, NB E3C1P7).
For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Greta's memory, the family have suggested the New Brunswick Right to Life Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
