It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell L. Black of Newburg, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darrell L. Black to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Black and Florence Black; his wife Jean Black; his children, Claudia Hamilton, Leonard Black and Dale Belyea; and his siblings, John Black, Perley Black, Willard "Bill" Black, Margaret McDonald, May Hallett, Eva Carlin, Christina Foster and Mildred Black.
He is survived by: his children, Gordon Elliott of Newburg, Ann Elliott of Newburg, Donna Black (Allison Tapley) of Woodstock, Donald Black of Newburg and Davis Black (Michelle) of Newburg; his daughter-in-law Tammy Black of Newburg; his grandchildren, Jacquie Hamilton, Krista Hamilton, Jimmy Elliott, Golda O'Brien, Charlie O'Brien, Aaron Phillips (Rhonda Warncke), Manley Phillips (Kristy), Emily Phillips (Chris Arsenie), Ashley Rogers (Ryan), Melanie Black, Destiny Black, Jennifer Black, Brittany Hamilton (Dustin), Davis Black, Mikayla Morris and Brayden Morris; and his sisters-in-law, Ethel Sewell and Doris Drost (Leigh). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation, in keeping with COVID 19 restrictions, will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, on Saturday, June 13th from 6:30 to 7:30 p. m.
