With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillips Henry Merrithew of Newburg, New Brunswick, born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phillips Henry Merrithew to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry and Sarah Merrithew (Phillips) of Pembroke, NB; his sister Marion Phillips; his son Mark Merrithew; and his brothers-in-law, Keith Phillips and Robert Nelson.

He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Nelson (Betty); his children, Sheila Grimmer (Hill), Saint John, Lynn Merrithew (Lothar Rosenegger), Phillips Merrithew Jr. (Loraine) and Mary-Lee White (Newburg); and his grandchildren, Brett Grimmer of Saint John, Heather Milbury (Duane) of Saint John, Amanda Sparrow (Chris) of Grafton, Jonathan Merrithew of Grafton, Rodney Kitchen (Renae), Randy Kitchen (Corinne), Cory Kitchen (Serena), Jamie Merrithew (Theresa), Krista MacLeod (Steve), Saint John and Matthew White.
