She was predeceased by : her parents, George Alexander and Edith Pearl Alexander (Tabor); her husband Howard McEwen; her brothers, Jim Alexander and Arthur Alexander; and her granddaughter Melissa Israel.

She is survived by : her children, Phillip McEwen (Carmen Williams) of Salt Springs, NB, Robert McEwen (Evelyn Arsenault) of Urbainville, PEI, Larry McEwen (Heather Cummings) of Salt Springs, NB, Keven McEwen (Sharon Dunlop) of Smithtown, Sherry Israel (Carl Israel) of Salt Springs, NB, Patricia McEwen-Suter (Wade McEwen-Suter) of Norton, NB, Sandra Coggan (Edward Coggan) of Kingston, NB, Jacqueline Raven (Donald Raven) of Keirsteadville, NB and Linda McEwen (Bobby Rector) of Sussex, NB; her grandchildren, Michael, Katie, Amanda, Matthew, Sarah, Stephanie, Carla, Angela, Bradley, Kristina, Andrea, Stacy, Jennifer, Aaron, Brandon, Makayla, Ryan and Mackenzie; and her brother George Alexander (Pat Flynn). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
