We announce the death of Wayne Douglas Marr (Norton, New Brunswick), who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 78. Wayne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Wayne will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Wayne will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Wayne’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Marr and Margaret Marr (Campbell); his wife Carol Marr; his sister Brenda Marr; and his brother-in-law Mike Hourihan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Crystle Bernard (Steven MacInnis) of Saint John, NB, Stephanie Wade (Larry) of Sussex, NB and Amanda Cyr (Andrew) of Saint John, NB; and his sister Marlene Coleman of Hampton, NB. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reid's Funeral Home (1063 Main St, Hampton, NB E5N5X9). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (129 NB-124, Norton, NB E5T2C3).
