She was predeceased by: her parents, George Buchanan and Joanne Buchanan; her stepmother Beatrice Buchanan; her husband Cecil; and her siblings, Raymond Buchanan, Patricia Buchanan, Heather Golding and Kevin Buchanan.

She is survived by: her children, Peter Cusack and Lisa Cusack; her grandsons, Nicholas, William and Jacob; her stepgrandchildren, Andrew, Zack, Aileen, Nikki and Eric; her sisters, Bonnie Miranda (Joe) and Tracey Muxworthy; her brother-in-law Charles Golding; and her close friend Susan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
