It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Madeline Farris in Oak Bay, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Stuart and Constance Stuart (Holliday) of Deer Island, NB.; her husband Paul M. Farris; her daughter Paula Ruth McLay; her sister Nancy; her brother-in-law Lou Ulrich; and her nephew Peter D. Stuart.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Delaney McLay (Zach Stewart); her great grandchildren, Riah of Oak Bay, Amara of Oak Bay and Zane of Oak Bay; and her sisters, Joyce Silvaggio (Michael) of Deer Island, NB and Patricia Eckols (James) of Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
In Ruth's memory, donations would be appreciated by the family to Lamberts Cove Baptist Church, Passamaquoddy Lodge or to a charity of the donor's choice.
