He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert McLaughlin and Rose McLaughlin (Doucette); and his siblings, AJ, Lloyd, Maurice, Clifford and Carmelle Renouf.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia McLaughlin (Cormier); his children, Vicki, Joe (Bonnie) and Denny McLaughlin (Katelyn LeBlanc); his grandchildren, Kayla, Colby, Dylan and Chloe; his great grandchild Ellie; and his siblings, Gerard (Lucie), Lucie Durepos, Wilbrod (Sylvie), Ginette Doucet (Normand), Hermel (Ginette), Marcel (Helen), Gilbert (Francine) and Gildard (Janet). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
